Construction of the Two-Classroom Block (Foundation)
The construction of a new two-classroom block commenced in May 2026 as part of JOMA School's ongoing commitment to expanding access to quality education for children in the local community. This important project will provide additional learning spaces to accommodate the growing number of students and create a more suitable environment for teaching and learning.
The estimated total cost of completing the two-classroom block, including the roofing, doors, windows, flooring, plastering, painting, and finishing works, is USD $30,000. To date, construction has progressed well with the completion of the foundations and the first stage of brickwork.
We are deeply grateful to a generous family from our local church, whose first donation of USD $10,000 has enabled this project to begin. Their generosity has provided the resources needed to commence construction and has inspired others to support the vision of providing safe and quality classrooms for the children of JOMA School.
While significant progress has been made, there is still much work to be completed before the classrooms are ready for use. We continue to seek additional partners, churches, organisations, and individuals who share our vision of investing in education and creating opportunities for future generations.
Every contribution, whether large or small, brings us one step closer to completing these classrooms and providing hundreds of children with a safe, comfortable, and inspiring place to learn. We thank all our supporters for standing with us and helping make this vision a reality.
