about
Light Along My Path is a faith-based, charitable organisation dedicated to serving vulnerable individuals and communities—locally in Australia and internationally, especially in South Sudan and East Africa. Our mission is to bring hope, restore dignity, and share the love of Christ through compassionate care, practical support, and community transformation.
Founded by Rev. Samuel K. Majok Tuil, a South Sudanese pastor and former refugee, LAMP is a ministry shaped by lived experience and unwavering faith. From war zones to refugee camps to the suburbs of Sydney, Rev. Samuel’s journey has been guided by one truth: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105).
Light Along My Path is a new tax deductable registered charity in Australia dedicated to improving the opportunities of vulnerable South Sudanese children and their communities in Australia and overseas. The operations and implementation of the LAMP’s programs are guided and driven by Christian values. Light Along My Path will liaise with sisterly organisations within Australia and overseas to aid the implementation of its programs.
Since our founding in 2018, LAMP has mobilised volunteers and Christian leaders who are committed to serving with Trust, Transparency, Equality, and Compassion (TTEC). We believe that real transformation happens not just through charity, but through relationships, discipleship, and faith-rooted action. We proudly maintain a low administrative overhead—98% of every dollar donated goes directly to those in need
