JOMA Christian Vision School

Building classrooms. Shaping futures. Honouring God.

The Need South Sudan remains one of the hardest places in the world for children to access education. Civil war, displacement, and poverty have left millions of children out of school, especially girls. In rural areas, classrooms are overcrowded, under-resourced, or non-existent. Children walk long distances to reach poorly equipped schools—if they go at all. Many drop out early to care for siblings, fetch water, or escape early marriage. Without intervention, these children remain trapped in cycles of illiteracy, vulnerability, and poverty.

Our Response: JOMA Christian Vision School

🧱 What We've Accomplished SoFar

  • We have secured a large plot of land dedicated to education and discipleship

  • The perimeter concrete fence is already built, laying a strong foundation for security and structure

  • Community leaders and church elders are fully engaged and supportive

This is more than a school — it is a mission base where children will be educated not only in reading and maths, but also in biblical values, character development, and servant leadership.

🎯 Our Vision

  • To provide quality primary and secondary education in a rural setting

  • To especially empower girls and orphans, who are often excluded

  • To disciple future leaders for church, community, and nation

  • To offer boarding facilities for children from remote areas

  • To run teacher training workshops with a Christian foundation

“When you teach a child, you shape a generation.”

💝 How You Can Help

  • $5000 AUD helps us build a classroom wall or roof

  • $10,000 AUD provides furniture, blackboards, or uniforms

  • $30,000 AUD supports the construction of a full classroom

  • $50,000+ AUD helps build boarding rooms or administrative blocks

  • Any gift brings us closer to opening our doors to hundreds of eager students

You can also sponsor a child’s full education at the JOMA Christian Vision School for just $600–$1,200 AUD per year.

📖 Christ-Cantered Learning

Every child at JOMA School will hear the Gospel and grow in Christ. Our teachers will model servant leadership, and the school will serve as a beacon of light for the surrounding community.

This is how we break the cycles of poverty, ignorance, and spiritual darkness — one classroom at a time.
